WATERLOO REGION —Waterloo Regional Police is hosting a women-focused constable recruitment program and is encouraging candidates to participate in the event March 21. The program will consist of an all-female panel, a roundtable open discussion, a simulated physical readiness test and a ride-along with officers. The program is designed to give potential female applicants an in-depth look into policing and hear from those in the field, police said.
