2014년도 캐나다한인과학기술자협회 장학생 선발공고

젊은 과학. 기술 인재 양성을 위해 캐나다한인과학장학재단과 캐나다한인과학기술자협회가 장학생을 선발 하오니 많은 지원을 바랍니다.

지원자 중 심사를 통해 선발된 총 일곱 명의 학생에게 SK 그룹 ($3000, 1명), (재)목암과학장학재단(녹십자) ($2000, 1명), 의료법인 고려의료재단 장학금($3,000, 1명), CS Wind 장학금 ($1,000,1명), KONA-KCSSF 장학금 ($1,000, 2명), 이경석 장학금($1,000, 1명) 이 지급될 예정입니다.

지원자격 : 캐나다 시민권자 또는 영주권자

              캐나다 내 대학의 과학, 기술분야의 학부 3학년 이상이나 대학원생

신청마감 :  2014년 7월 4일 (금)

구비서류 :  지원서*와 이력서*, 자기소개서*, 2통의 추천서**, 성적표*** (2012~2013 / 2013~2014)

               *본 서류는 이메일로 접수하여야함.

               ** 추천인 본인이 우편으로 보내는 것을 원칙으로 하나 추천서 스캔후 이메일 발송도 가능함.

               ***성적표는 반드시 발행기관에 의해 봉인된 봉투로 우편으로 보내져야 함.

Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2014 KCSSF awards. The application form and all supporting documentation must be submitted by July 04^TH, 2014 to:

1.     APPLICAT QUALIFICATION

a. Must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant (Specify on application form).

b. Must be enrolled full-time during 2013-2014 academic year and must have completed at least TWO (2) full academic years in a Science / Engineer related post secondary education institution (e.g. university, college) in Canada, and must submit proof of registration prior to receipt of scholarship, if awarded.

c. Previous recipients are NOT eligible.

2.     APPLICATION DOUCUMENTS

a. AKCSE official application form must be used (download the form attached).

b. Resume outlining your education, work experience, extra-curricular activities and other accomplishments, including referees’ contact numbers.

c. Personal statement (maximum 2 pages).

Above documents should be EMAILED to info@akcse.org by application due date July 04^th.

d. Official transcripts for the academic years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 from all former and current post-secondary institutions.

                  Each envelope must be sealed and signed by the issuing institution (Transcript opened envelopes

            will not be acceptable).

            Mail to KCSSF office.

e. Two letters of reference from people that have direct knowledge of your character, ability, attitude, potential and aspiration. References should exclude family, friends and relatives are not eligible as reference.

                  The letter can be scanned and email to info@akcse.org by reference, himself/herself or mail to KCSSF Office.

The recipients of the Scholarships will be announced on the AKCSE webpage (http://www.akcse.org) by July 25^th, 2014.
